CSR
Our Disaster management team has always been on guard to help out in case of any calamity that hits across any state in India. In November 25, 2020 -The whole of Chennai was impacted greatly when the Cyclone Nivar hit near Puducherry. Ferocious wind and incessant rains cut through the city, causing flooding in several parts and in the outskirts. Many areas suffered power cuts as well. Around 0.1 million people, including 28,161 children, were evacuated to 1,694 relief camps across Tamil Nadu from low-lying areas. On 7 August 2020, due to heavy rainfall in the monsoon season, severe floods affected Kerala India. The floods resulted in the death of at least 22 people. Kerala was also flooded in 2018 and 2019. Due to its terrain and its coastal locale, this is a state which is often affected by natural calamity like floods. In both cases, Transworld International played a key role in helping our clients and customers move their belongings to a safer areas and locales. We also provided them with basic necessities in co-ordination with the Civic Authorities.Our Key Services
